I build tools for problems I've actually had.
Vinyl pricing, personal finance, and whatever's bugging me next.
More tools in the pipeline — a record store finder, and a broader ecosystem of human-focused apps around music, vinyl, and everyday life.
Barranquilla to Rockstar.
Case manager to builder.
I started as a case manager. Spent the next year coding night and day, not because I had a plan, but because it turned out I was good at it and couldn't stop.
That led to web development, then project management, then a seat at Rockstar Games. Somewhere in there, coding stopped being a career move and became something else entirely.
"Coding was my hobby on the side of my job. Then it became my entire job. Then it became something that helped with my job. Now it's my secret weapon."
Music has been there the whole time: drums as a kid, a Colombian household full of Chichi Peralta, Carlos Vives, Diomedes Díaz. It's not a background detail. It shapes how I think about products: rhythm, feel, when something is off by a beat.
The apps I build come from real friction. Spin or Stream exists because I couldn't find vinyl within budget without surprise shipping costs at checkout. That's the pattern: find a problem I've actually had, build the tool, ship it.
Short, specific,
results-driven.
Not 10-hour courses. The code is the easy part. It's the strategy that's the hard part. That's what I teach.
I build courses for people who are done watching tutorials and ready to ship something real. Each one is focused on a single outcome. No fluff, no filler, no padding to hit a runtime.
If you've ever felt like the technical part clicked but you still couldn't figure out what to build or how to think about it, that's what these courses are for.

Thinking out loud
about building things.
I write about things I've actually figured out. Or things I'm still figuring out. Mostly product and music, sometimes both at once.
